We’ve all been there.

A big Pokémon Center product drop goes live, you hit the site instantly… and land on the dreaded holding page. No idea how long the wait will be. No progress bar. No queue number. Just anticipation and frustration.

But here’s the good news: there’s a simple way to check your actual position in the queue — and it only takes a few clicks.

Here’s how to do it.

Step 1 – Open Inspect Mode on the Holding Page

Once you reach the Pokémon Center queue screen, right-click anywhere on the page and select ‘Inspect’ (or press Ctrl+Shift+I on your keyboard).

This will bring up the browser’s developer tools — don’t worry, you don’t need to understand any code.

POKEMON CENTRE QUEUE STEP 1

Step 2 – Click the ‘Network’ Tab

At the top of the developer tools panel, look for a tab called ‘Network’ and click it.

This section shows all the requests and responses being made by the Pokémon Center website in real-time.

Step 3 – Look for the Requests Starting With ‘_Incapsula_Resource’

You’ll start to see a list of entries updating every few seconds. The ones you want begin with:

_Incapsula_Resource

These are the requests tied to the virtual waiting room. Every time one of these refreshes, it’s your chance to check your queue status.

Step 4 – Click ‘Response’ and Find Your Position

Click on one of the _Incapsula_Resource entries, then head over to the ‘Response’ tab.

Now scroll through the code a little. You’re looking for this:

"pos":12345

That number next to "pos" is your current position in the queue.

What Does This Mean?

Now that you know where you stand, it’s up to you — do you wait it out or cut your losses?

This little trick won’t speed things up, but it can save your sanity when you’re trying to decide whether it’s worth sticking around for a potential restock or product drop.

Good luck on your next hunt — and may the queue gods be ever in your favour!
