Getting your hands on the latest Pokemon card set can often be a challenge – especially if there’s a lot of hype around the release.
In this article I’m going to share with you my top places to pre-order Pokemon cards, depending on your location.
Remember, these retailers often put limits on the number of items you can buy, so use multiple stores to help you get the products you want.
QUICK TIP – My strategy has always been to buy 3 of each product:
- One to lock away as a long-term hold (read my guide to collecting profitably here)
- One to hold until I see it double in value – then I sell
- One to open right away – purely for fun!
The Best Place to Pre-Order Pokemon Cards
In my opinion, the best place to pre-order Pokemon cards is at source – directly from the Pokemon Center website.
This is because of a few simple reasons:
- There are sometimes exclusive cards, giveaways or promos that you can only get directly from the Pokemon Center
- The range of Pokemon products beyond cards are just awesome, and I often like to bundle in other purchases to my order!
